The American Pavilion (AMPAV), Institute for Interdisciplinary Art and Creative Intelligence (IIACI) and Dr. Janeann Dill are partners in a highly innovative festival program of IIACI Academic Internships™ for Cannes and Venice film festivals!

AMPAV is the only recognized student program sanctioned by the festivals and students selected to attend are accredited by the French and Italian governments to participate in these exciting student programs and will be forever known as the
2010 Class IIACI ACADEMIC INTERNS
and ...
TODAY is the day to apply!
Do not be late; lateness is not a good trait to exhibit when being on time and ready to work are traits essential to being an Academic Intern at these festivals.
January 15 is the Deadline to Apply for Early Acceptance
No applications accepted after February 12
Be ahead of the game when you get your application to IIACI by January 15.
This is a first-served program with a competitive selection process. The first round of applications and interviews are with IIACI. Students who are selected by IIACI to enter the second round of applications will then submit their application to AMPAV via an unpublished online link dedicated specifically to the Institute's programs. A second round of interviews will determine the final selection of interns to participate in the festival programs at Cannes and Venice.
It behooves you to be amongst the first students to apply!
Will you graduate in May and can arrive in France the day of May 9, 2010? Arrive in Italy the day of August 30, 2010?

The festival intern program can accommodate widely diverse networking sectors across the festival venues in film, interdisciplinary studies, the performing arts, costume design,theater, music, arts administration, music, writing, graphic design, event planning, engineering (gaming design and software development), integrated and interactive media, entertainment business, distribution, advertising, marketing and journalism in Cannes, France and Venice, Italy.
IIACI Interns earn Certificate credits upon successful completion of the Academic Sector of the AMPAV Internship program and will reap the accompanying academic benefits of being mentored on site by Dr. Dill while garnering practical work experience in an international market industry.

Dr. Janeann Dill is a filmmaker, artist, scholar, and mentor to young filmmakers, artists, scholars and thinkers. For more than twenty years, her work has been a productive investigation of the intersections of film, experimental animation, drawing, painting and critical discourse. Dr. Dill's work in the film industry is as an Animation Timing Director and she holds a Ph.D. in Media Philosophy (EGS, Swiss Institute-University), a M.F.A. in Experimental Animation (CalArts), a M.A. in Painting and Drawing (Vanderbilt University) and a Certificate of Live-Action Directing and Editing in New Media (UCLA Extension).
